Father, as I read Genesis this morning, I saw that being in a covenant relationship with you is vital because without YOU being FIRST in our life, and without Your word LIVING and abiding in us when storms and trials come, if our focus is not on You, we will be tossed to and fro and our bearings will become unsure because our house was not founded on the Rock of our Salvation.
Father, I pray for every marriage on this board and those who will come asking for prayer, that you would establish each person on the Rock of their Salvation, Jesus. If they are not in covenant relationship with You, first, I ask that You would speak LIGHT BE into their hearts and minds and that they would heed Holy Spirit's call to come and dine at King Jesus' table.
Pour out your Spirit upon each marriage and bring the light of the truth into each one's lives to reveal the areas of their own heart and soul that need the blood of Jesus to wash and clean, making us a holy vessel solely unto YOU.
You have called us all to a live of holiness and set apart from the ways of the world. May each husband love their wife as Christ loves the church and may each wife treat their husband as they would treat Jesus for indeed Jesus lives in each one of us.
Grow us up in all things. And I pray each one spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
