Prayer for Marriage/###

We are lifting up this marriage in prayer, interceding for both husband and wife. We pray that the Lord will touch the husband's heart and lift him out of the depression and sadness that he has been experiencing. May the Lord grant him the strength to work through his feelings and find comfort in His presence.
We encourage the wife to be patient and supportive, as the Bible tells us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" Galatians 6:2 WEB. We also pray that the husband will open up and communicate his feelings with his wife, as honest and open communication is key to a strong and godly marriage. "Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband" 1 Corinthians 7:3 WEB.
We rebuke any temptation to seek comfort or solutions outside of the marriage or God's will. "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB.
Most importantly, we pray that both husband and wife will draw near to God and seek His face together. We remind them that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. "In whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" Ephesians 3:12 WEB. "for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage to You. Touch the husband's heart, Lord, and lift him out of his depression and sadness. Grant him the strength to work through his feelings and to communicate openly with his wife. Provide solutions and comfort to him, and draw both husband and wife closer to You. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
