Prayer for March 5 (Ash Wednesday and Fast)
Wow Father good morning. This has been interesting getting ready for this fast.
Father first and foremost I want to say thank you. Over 150 persons have listed their names to be a part of this. Amen. Father you have stated "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.â€.
We come before you lifting up these names for marriage restoration and for all of their needs Father. You are Our Protector, Comforter and Banner are we travel this hard road of life. I am so please Father that all of theses persons believe and hold on to the sanctity of marriage and to your Word Father. Your Word is our instruction book in life. We know that this is a hard road and we may get weary but you have promised that if we rely on you we will not grow weary.
Father we know that you are not slow as men perceive slowness as you see the whole picture and u wish that none would be lost and all will be saved.
Father we lift up our spouses to you that you can speak to them as only you can Father. Please let them hear you and not us. Guide us as you would have us to follow you father. We know that as we start this Fast Satan will be coming against us and trying to confuse and speak to us and our spouses and discourage us. Father I rebuke Satan in the power you have given each and every one of us. As our spouses are sanctified by us father please place a hedge of protection around each of them, Father. Bind up all evil spirits that are trying to claim our marriages and replace them with your love and grace. Fill us, our spouse, and our home and children with the fruits of the spirits. Help us to grow and cultivate them and bind all malice, evil thought or words in our tongue and hearts. Fill us with your love and forgiveness so that we can forgive and love as you have Father.
Please a hedge of thorns around the OP in our marriage that doesn’t belong there. Speak to them as well Father. Teach us to forgive and love them also as they are you children and our brothers and sister. We know that they also have be deceived by Satan and he is our true enemy. When they go to look for our spouse let them not find them. When they approach our spouse let our spouses be pricked by memories of us and let the op be pricked of memories of their spouse. Father please help us to get through this. You are our banner as we enter the spiritual war.
You have given us our armour and our weapons for this battle so please keep us still till your appointed time all the while sharpening the Sword of the Spirit by spending time with you and in the Word. In Jesus name Amen
For those who are unaware we are praying and fasting for marriages March 5-6. You may fast however you chose to fast. I will post either prayers or thoughts throughout the day to help keep us encouraged. The names will now be posted on the private sites but they will be in the events and on the private group pages. We have 157 names. I do think some are duplicated but we do have over 150 AMEN. This is a lot of persons in agreement letting the Father know that we stand on his word and for the sanity of Marriage and the salvation of each and every one on the list and their spouses and other persons and extended families. Let’s get ready to watch God a wonderful and amazing thing today. Amen.
