We understand that you are experiencing financial distress due to a drop in share prices, and we empathize with your situation. Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and can be saved.
We will pray for your situation, but we also want to remind you of the biblical principles regarding wealth and contentment. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:6-10 WEB:
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
And in Hebrews 13:5 WEB:
"Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
While we pray for your financial recovery, we also pray that you find contentment and peace in Jesus, knowing that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Remember that God cares for you and your needs, as it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is experiencing financial loss. Lord, You know their situation, and You know their needs. We pray that You will guide them through this difficult time, and that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We pray for their financial recovery. We ask for wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions with regards to investments. We pray for them to find peace and contentment in Jesus, knowing that true wealth is found in Him.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
