Prayer for justice against discrimination

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, Do justice for me Oh God concerning my cause; Lord in the day of evil, there is none who has communicated any good to me from Your Household and my case is like what the Grecian Jews experienced in Acts 6:1. I am no widow nor fatherless, yet I shouldn't be overlooked in any good that ought to be done for those in thine Household of which I also I am; even if my actions disavow you I am still a member of Your Household because Titus 1:13 says to rebuke such people so that they may be sound in the faith, therefore I am also a member of Your Household and people ought to do good unto me especially in this day of evil and these people claimed that we are one so they decided to unjustly attack me for in three places even Titus, 1 Timothy and 2 Corinthians there were people who were assigned the authority to do such things that these people claimed have the right to do against me in the day of evil, but when it came to doing good in spiritual things and in financial things as written Galatians 6:10, they are relinquishing that duty and all the time Your Name is what they have been using; And I suppose that there are many people who are like myself therefore I stand in the place of all such people asking for justice to be done for us; Therefore do justice for us regarding this discrimination and this unjust treatment from people in Your Household; For You said judgment will begin from Your Household; Lord when it comes to evil, they are swift to do it even against me but when it comes to doing good, there are withdrawing from it; After all what do I need they cannot meet? Therefore intervene for me lest Satan uses this evil as his advantage to destroy me; Intervene for all the people who are like myself in the Name of the Lord Jesus, Amen.

We hear the deep cry of your heart for justice, and we stand with you in this time of distress, lifting your burden before the Lord. The pain of being overlooked, mistreated, or discriminated against—especially by those within the household of faith—is a grievous thing, and we know the Lord sees and cares deeply for your suffering. You have rightly turned to Scripture to express your plea, and we join you in seeking God’s righteous intervention, for He is a God of justice who does not show partiality.

The Word of God declares in **Deuteronomy 10:17-18**, *"For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons nor takes reward. He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing."* Though you are neither a widow nor fatherless, the principle remains: God is just, and He defends those who are wronged, especially when the wrong comes from those who claim His name. **1 Peter 4:17** reminds us, *"For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?"* This is a solemn truth—God holds His people to a higher standard, and when we fail to love, serve, or do justice, we invite His correction.

Yet we must also examine our own hearts in this matter. You mentioned that even if your actions disavow God, you remain a member of His household because of the rebuke in **Titus 1:13**. This is a critical point. Membership in God’s household is not secured by our failures or even by the rebukes we receive, but by our repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. **1 John 1:9** tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* If there are ways in which you have strayed—whether in action, attitude, or word—we urge you to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and restoration. Justice begins with a right relationship with Him.

As for those who have wronged you, we must remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord. **Romans 12:19** says, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* While we cry out for justice, we must also release bitterness and trust that God will act in His perfect timing. Your pain is valid, but we encourage you to guard your heart against resentment, for it can become a foothold for the enemy. Instead, cling to the promise in **Psalm 37:5-6**, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."*

We also note that you stand not only for yourself but for others who may be suffering similarly. This is a noble and Christ-like posture, reflecting the heart of an intercessor. **Galatians 6:2** calls us to *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* We join you in praying for all who are overlooked or mistreated within the body of Christ, asking the Lord to expose injustice, bring repentance where needed, and restore what has been broken.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who cries out for justice. Lord, You are the righteous Judge, the One who sees all things and weighs every heart. You know the pain of being overlooked, the sting of discrimination, and the betrayal of those who claim Your name yet act unjustly. We ask You to intervene in this situation, Lord. Expose every hidden motive, rebuke every unrighteous action, and bring conviction where there is sin. Father, if there has been any wrongdoing on the part of our brother/sister, we ask for the grace of repentance and restoration. Cleanse their heart, Lord, and make them whole.

We pray for those who have acted unjustly—open their eyes to the harm they have caused. Soften their hearts to seek forgiveness and make amends. Let them remember that You, Lord, show no partiality, and those who act unjustly will give an account to You. Father, we ask for Your justice to prevail, not as the world gives, but as You ordain—redemptive, righteous, and full of mercy.

We also lift up every person who has suffered similarly within Your household. Lord, raise up advocates for the overlooked, defenders of the weak, and leaders who will act with integrity. Let Your church be a place of refuge, not rejection; of healing, not harm. Break the schemes of the enemy who seeks to divide and destroy. Unify Your people in truth and love, and let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (**Amos 5:24**).

Finally, Father, we ask for Your protection over our brother/sister. Guard their heart from bitterness, their mind from despair, and their spirit from discouragement. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them know that You see them, You hear them, and You will act on their behalf. Strengthen their faith to trust in You, even when the way is dark.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is our Advocate and Just Judge. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you cry out for justice. It's heartbreaking to feel overlooked and mistreated, especially by those within our faith community. We've been moved by your passion and your grounding in Scripture. We join you in asking God to intervene on your behalf, for He is a God of justice who does not show favoritism.

We're reminded of Psalm 82:3, "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." Though you're neither a widow nor fatherless, this principle remains true: God sees, He cares, and He will act.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart pure. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus tells us, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." It's tough, we know, but holding onto bitterness can only harm you. Trust that God sees all and will make all things right in His perfect timing.

Let's continue to lift this up together, asking God to bring justice, expose hidden motives, and heal broken relationships. And let's also pray for those who have acted unjustly, that their hearts would be softened and they would seek forgiveness.

We're in this with you, dear friend. Let's trust in God's unfailing love and justice, no matter how long it takes. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
