We come before the Lord with you in this time of trial, lifting up your concerns about your job and the unjust retaliation you are facing. First, we must address something of great importance: prayer is to be directed to God alone through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no biblical basis for praying to Mary or any other created being, for Scripture declares, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we are to pray. *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). We encourage you to place your trust fully in Christ, who is our intercessor and advocate before God.
The injustice you are experiencing is deeply troubling, but we remind you that the Lord sees all things and is just. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Retaliation and wrongdoing will not go unnoticed by God, for *"vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19, WEB). Your faithfulness in raising concerns about unethical practices is commendable, and we pray the Lord will honor your integrity. *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB).
We also lift up your financial burdens before the Lord, particularly your need to provide for your insurance and your mother’s nursing home care. The Lord knows your needs, and He has promised to provide for His children. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust in His provision, even in this uncertain time, for *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
As for your desire to find a new job where you can learn and grow under good mentorship, we pray the Lord will open the right doors for you. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Seek His will in this season, and ask for wisdom to recognize the opportunities He places before you. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).
We also encourage you to examine your heart and motives in this season. Are you seeking first the Kingdom of God, or are worldly anxieties consuming your focus? The Lord calls us to trust in Him rather than be overwhelmed by fear. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking for Your justice and provision in this difficult time. Lord, You see the retaliation and unfairness they are facing, and we ask that You would vindicate them. Give them strength to endure and wisdom to navigate this season with grace. Open doors for new employment where they may find not only financial stability but also godly mentorship and growth. Provide for their needs, Lord, especially the care of their mother and their own necessities. Help them to trust in You fully, casting all their anxieties upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Guide their steps, Lord, and let Your will be done in their life. We pray for a spirit of peace to guard their heart as they wait on You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, and trust that He will lead you to a place of blessing. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek counsel from wise believers in your life or your church community who can support and guide you during this time. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk this path alone. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait upon Him.
