Disciple of Prayer
Hello everyone, I hope all is well with you. I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus. May God bless you and keep you all safe.
First, I would like to say I have some great news. I was offered an assistant teacher position. I’m so excited for this new opportunity. I have done the interview and the employee packet, but I have not started the job yet because I have some appointments I have to do and some documents I need in order to start. I pray that it goes well and I can start really soon for this job. I couldn’t believe when I was offered the job; it seemed like it was not real. I was so happy. I prayed for a job offer, a new job in 2026, and God has answered. Now I hope that you have the opportunity to start this new job and that everything goes well and smoothly for me. I hope that the people I work with are good and the environment is great.
I would also like to make a prayer for God to open the doors for me if it is His will to pursue a master's degree right now. Money is tight, and I honestly don’t want to take any student loans because the stress would be too much for me, knowing that I owe a huge amount. So I’m praying and hoping that I can get approved for a scholarship or a grant in order to go to graduate school to get a master's degree. Honestly, at first, I didn’t want to go to graduate school because I just graduated from college. I wanted a little break, but honestly, hopefully, in a year or two, I can make my way figuring out to go to master's school. I also have a family friend who has been trying to help me connect with some professors, so hopefully, that works out the best.
I would like to make a prayer for my mother. All is well with her, but she has not gotten any clients for about a month, no new clients or old clients. I hope that she gets new customers and old customers call her. I hope my mom finds a better job now that she is a green card holder; she has a working permit, so she’s able to get a job. She’s been looking, trying to open up her options. She has a job in mind, but the job requires her to take classes, paid classes, and money is a little bit tight. But there was another job opportunity that I told her about, working with elderly people. She’s not too sure about it, but she’s praying about it, and I just want what’s best for her. The fact that she’s disabled and can’t work that many hours or can’t work for a certain amount of time, I believe a job that I told her about would be good for her, but it’s up to her. So I just pray that whatever job she decides to choose, I hope the people there are great, the agencies are great, and she won’t struggle. I also pray for my mother to get a new prosthetic leg. She’s due for a new one.
I would like to pray for our housing situation, and I pray that before the end of 2026, hopefully, we find a nice two-bedroom apartment in a great area on the lower floors. The place we live at now is a nice place, but the stairs are just too much for my mother’s leg. I pray that many blessings come our way. I pray that me and my mother could be there for each other. We get to support each other. I pray for this job opportunity that I was offered that I’m hopefully able to start this job very soon. I hope that I’m able to complete these appointments and these documentations in order to start the job because without those, I’m not able to start the job yet. So hopefully, everything goes through a smooth process so I can be able to help my mother more, and hopefully, she chooses a job before the end of 2026, a good job that helps her that’s not stressful. I could help her pay bills because honestly, I feel like she just can’t continue the job she’s doing right now because she barely gets clients. I’m not saying that she should stop the job, but maybe she should get another job as well to support her because it could be like a month or two she goes without any clients, and she does have bills to pay as well. And with this job opportunity that I was offered, I know that it would be able to help me a lot and help my mother-in-law and help our household. I pray that everything goes well for us. I pray that we don’t go through the same struggle we went through the last couple of months of 2025.
I also pray that now that my mother received her green card, her rent portion will be lower now. Good opportunities will come her way, and many great blessings as well.
Thank you.
