Prayer for ### in hospital

10 days after stroke one side not moving she has recently had breathing trouble and her heart stopped today for 1 min. We are praying for GOD to help her recover and restore her so she won't be suffering so much. And for her family through this time. And the doctors and others around her in the hospital.

We lift up this precious sister before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. The trials she is enduring are heavy, and we stand in agreement, believing that nothing is too difficult for our God, who is the Great Physician and the Author of life itself.

The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* And again in Matthew 19:26, Jesus tells us, *"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."* We cling to these promises, trusting that the Lord is able to restore strength to her body, breath to her lungs, and steadfastness to her heart. Though her body is weak, we pray that her spirit would be renewed day by day, as it is written in Isaiah 40:29-31: *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*

We also remember the family who loves her dearly, knowing their hearts are burdened with sorrow and weariness. May the Lord surround them with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them cast all their anxieties on Him, for He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7). We pray they would feel the presence of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, drawing near to them in this valley, reminding them that even here, God is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

For the doctors, nurses, and all medical staff attending to her, we ask for wisdom from above, that they may be guided by the skillful hands of the Lord. May they be instruments of healing, acting with compassion and discernment. We pray they would see the hand of God at work in her recovery, that they too might glorify His name.

Yet, even as we pray for healing, we surrender to the sovereign will of the Father, who knows what is best for His child. If it is His will to restore her fully, we will rejoice and give Him all the glory. If He chooses to call her home, we pray she would go peacefully into His arms, free from pain and suffering, where there is no more sorrow, no more tears, and no more death (Revelation 21:4). Let her final days, if they are near, be filled with the presence of Jesus, who has conquered the grave and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.

We must also take this moment to gently remind all who are praying that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His name—and His name alone—that we come boldly before the throne. If there are any among us who do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent and place your faith in Him today. Believe that He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, so that you too might have eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). There is no greater hope, no greater peace, and no greater love than what is found in Christ.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is fighting for her life. Lord, You knit her together in her mother’s womb, and every day of her life was written in Your book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:13-16). We ask that You would breathe new life into her body, that You would restore movement to her limbs, strength to her heart, and clarity to her mind. Touch her, Lord, as only You can. Let Your healing power flow through her veins, renewing her from the inside out.

Comfort her family, Lord. Hold them close as they wait and watch. Give them supernatural peace and patience. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, through the love of Your people, through the whispers of Your Spirit, and through the promises of Your Word.

We pray for the medical team, that You would guide their hands and minds. Give them wisdom beyond their own understanding, that they might make decisions that align with Your perfect will. Let them be vessels of Your mercy and compassion.

Father, we do not know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future. Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). We trust You, even when we do not understand. If it is Your will to heal her completely, we will praise You. If You choose to take her home, we ask that You would prepare her heart and the hearts of her loved ones for that day. Let her departure be peaceful, and let her entrance into eternity be filled with the joy of seeing Jesus face to face.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may try to take hold of this situation. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the gap, believing for a miracle.

Finally, Lord, we ask that through all of this, Your name would be glorified. Let her life—and even her suffering—be a testimony of Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. Draw others to Yourself through this trial, that they too might come to know You as Savior and Lord.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap and lifting you up before our Heavenly Father. We know the road ahead is uncertain and filled with challenges, but we hold onto the promise that with God, all things are possible. We're believing for a miracle, for His healing power to flow through every cell of your body, renewing you from the inside out.

We're also wrapping your family in prayer, asking for God's supernatural peace and comfort to surround them. We pray that they would feel His presence in tangible ways, through the love of His people, the whispers of His Spirit, and the promises of His Word. We ask that they would trust in His goodness, even in the midst of their sorrow.

For the medical team caring for you, we pray for wisdom from above. We ask that they would be guided by God's hand, making decisions that align with His perfect will. We pray that they would be vessels of His mercy and compassion, treating you with kindness and skill.

We don't know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future. We trust in our Father's love and care, even when we don't understand. We're believing for your healing, but if it's His will to take you home, we pray that you would go peacefully, free from pain and suffering, into His loving arms.

We're rebuking any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair, standing on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and we stand in the gap, believing for a miracle.

Finally, we pray that through all of this, God's name would be glorified. We ask that your life, even in your suffering, would be a testimony of His goodness, power, and love. We pray that others would be drawn to Him through this trial, coming to know Him as Savior and Lord.

We pray all these things in Jesus' name, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting up your beloved sister in Christ during this difficult season. These past days have weighed heavily on our hearts as we’ve continued to intercede for her healing, strength, and comfort—pleading with the Lord to restore movement, stabilize her breathing, and bring life and vitality back to her body. We’ve also been praying earnestly for her family, that God would surround them with His peace that surpasses all understanding, and for the medical team, that He would grant them wisdom, skill, and compassion as they care for her.

We know how deeply you long to see her restored, and we share in your hope that the Lord will move mightily in her life, turning this trial into a testimony of His power and grace. If God has already begun to answer in ways big or small—whether through signs of physical recovery, moments of unexpected peace, or even the strength to endure another day—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting Him in their own storm.

If the road ahead still feels uncertain or the burden remains heavy, we urge you not to walk it alone. Post an update, and let us continue to stand with you in prayer, believing together for the breakthrough that only our Heavenly Father can provide. We are reminded of how Jesus wept with Mary and Martha before raising Lazarus, and how He still walks with us in our sorrow before He works His miracles. May you feel His presence closely in these moments, and may His love carry you when the weight feels too great.

We are still praying, still believing, and still trusting in the God who holds all things in His hands. May He bless you richly as you cling to Him, finding hope in the promise that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

In Jesus’ Name.
