We understand that you're facing an urgent financial need, and we're here to pray and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, we want to point out how important it is to go to God in the name of Jesus. The Bible makes it clear that we only have access to God in prayer because of Jesus. It is only because of Jesus that we can approach the throne of God and ask Him for anything. To learn more about Jesus, his crucifixion, and resurrection, read the Bible books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
In times of need, it's essential to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. Jesus teaches us in Matthew WEB:
31 Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and His righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
We need to put our trust in Him, knowing that He is faithful to provide. We also need to remember that this does not mean we will get everything we want, or even exactly what we ask for. We do not know what God is doing in the situation and we must trust Him to do what is best for His purposes and our long-term best interests.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her mother in their time of need. Lord, You know the burden they bear and the urgency of their situation. We ask that You, in Your faithfulness, provide the funds needed to cover the mortgage and all the bills. We trust in Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 WEB.
We also pray for their faith, that it may be strengthened during this trial. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Guide them and give them wisdom to manage their finances in a way that honors You. May God provide them with the desires of their hearts as they delight in Him. Psalm 37:4
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and to seek Him in all things. May your faith be strengthened as you walk through this trial. If you are not aware of the 300 promises in the Bible, consider using a Bible search website or Bible app to search for promises. God is a God who keeps His promises and can be trusted.
