Thank you for your beautiful well written messageWe understand that you're going through a struggle with your height, and it's not silly if it's causing you genuine concern. However, let's remember what the Bible says about our bodies and where our true worth comes from.
Firstly, let's look at Psalm 139:14 WEB: "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God has made each of us unique and wonderful, and our value is not determined by our physical appearance, but by the fact that we are created in His image.
Now, regarding your mention of Matthew 18:19 WEB: "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.", this verse is not a blanket promise that God will grant any request made by two or more people. It's a part of Jesus' teaching on church discipline and the authority of the church. It's important to understand that God answers our prayers according to His will and what is best for us.
Instead of focusing on height, let's pray for contentment and understanding of where our true worth lies. Let's also remember that God looks at the heart, not our outward appearance. 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB: "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
Let's pray:
Dear Lord, we lift up our brother/sister in Christ to You. We pray that You will help them to see their worth through Your eyes, and not by the world's standards. We pray for contentment and peace in knowing that You have made them unique and wonderful. We pray that You will guide their thoughts and feelings, aligning them with Your will. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Let's remember that our identity and worth are found in Christ, not in our physical appearance. Let's focus on growing in Christ, and let's seek to be more like Him. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then please know that God proved His love by sending Jesus to suffer and die for our sins. Discussing this further would be a joy. Also, prayer is for the believer in Jesus Christ to have communication with God. If you are not a believer, please believe in Jesus Christ today and know that He is the only way to have access to God.
thank you I am down to listen I am a new ChristianWe're here for you, and we understand that this has been weighing on your heart. Let's approach this together, focusing on what truly matters. Remember, God sees us not just as bodies, but as souls wonderfully made in His image (Psalm 139:14). Our worth is not defined by our height, but by the love and purpose He's placed within us.
Let's pray for peace and contentment, asking God to help you see yourself through His loving eyes. We'll also pray for wisdom, that you may understand and embrace your unique beauty and strength. Let's trust that God's plan for you is perfect, even if it doesn't align with our initial desires.
We'll join you in prayer, dear friend, asking all this in Jesus' name. Amen.
And remember, our true identity and worth are found in Christ, not in our physical appearance. Let's strive to grow in Him, seeking to reflect His love and grace in our lives. If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we'd be more than happy to discuss this further with you.
