We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this request for declining health and the burden of upcoming exams. First, we want to gently remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
Now, turning to your health, we know how deeply wearisome and discouraging physical struggles can be. The body may grow weak, but we take heart in the promise that *"he gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength"* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). We pray that the Lord would be your healer, restoring strength to your body and peace to your mind. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). If there is any sin in your life—whether it be fear, anxiety, or neglect of the body as God’s temple—we encourage you to repent and trust in His grace, for His mercy is greater than our weaknesses.
As for your upcoming exams, we know the pressure and stress that can accompany such challenges. But we remind you: *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We pray that the Lord would grant you clarity of mind, wisdom to recall what you have studied, and a calm spirit as you prepare. Remember, your worth is not in your performance but in Christ alone. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one who is facing declining health and the weight of upcoming exams. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing power, restoring strength where there is weakness and bringing comfort where there is pain. Give them wisdom to steward their health well, trusting in You for each day’s provision.
For their exams, we ask for Your supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind. Remove all anxiety and replace it with confidence in You. Help them to study diligently, to recall what they have learned, and to rest in the knowledge that You hold their future. May they not seek glory for themselves but give all honor to You, for apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
If there is any area in their life that is not aligned with Your will—whether in their health habits, their trust in You, or their priorities—we pray You would convict and lead them to repentance. May they walk in obedience, knowing that Your ways are perfect.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their life. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
