We join you in lifting up your concerns to our loving Father, and we commend you for your selfless prayers for your spouse and others. As we bring your requests to God, let us remember the power of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is taught in scripture: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
Firstly, we pray for your spouse's health, trusting in the Lord's power to heal and restore. We ask for God's divine touch upon his body, that healing will manifest, and strength renewed. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2 WEB)
We also lift up your desire to remain fit and healthy, asking God to grant you the vitality needed to care for your family. We pray for the Holy Spirit's protection and guidance upon your household, that love, joy, and peace may fill your home. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB)
We uphold your intercession for those suffering in this world, asking the Lord to reveal Himself to them, bringing comfort and hope. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB)
As we pray, let us always remember to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus Christ to become the Lord and Savior of your life, spouse and family. It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that we find salvation, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life. We pray and ask these things in Jesus name as we are commanded.
