prayer for ### health and ###

Godforward

Disciple of Prayer
Today I lift up my health and my work in the name of Jesus.
I pray that all sickness is broken off of me in the name of Jesus.
I pray that all clients who are meant to book with me, book with me and that all demonic forces sabotaging my place of work, the clients who provide the work and other employees/employers who aid to that work is broken off in Jesus name.
Amen.

We join you in lifting up your health and work before the Lord, and we are grateful you have invoked the powerful name of Jesus in your prayer—for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the enemy. Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20).

The Word of God assures us that healing and wholeness are part of His will for His children. In Isaiah 53:5, we read, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We claim this promise over your body and declare that every sickness, every infirmity, and every attack against your health is broken in the name of Jesus. May the Lord restore you to full strength and vitality, for His glory. Remember, too, that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward them well—through rest, proper nourishment, and trust in His provision.

Regarding your work, we recognize the spiritual battle that often surrounds our livelihoods, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray that the Lord will divinely connect you with the clients He has ordained for you, that every hindrance—whether spiritual, relational, or circumstantial—will be removed by the power of His name. Let us also remind you that your work is not just a means of provision but an opportunity to glorify God (Colossians 3:23-24). Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33).

We must also address the mention of "demonic forces" in your prayer. While it is right to be aware of spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12), we encourage you to focus even more on the authority and victory you already have in Christ. You are *seated with Him in heavenly places* (Ephesians 2:6), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Do not live in fear of the enemy, but in the confident assurance that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Finally, we notice you did not explicitly ask for anything in the name of Jesus within the body of your prayer, though you closed with "Amen," which means "so be it." While we commend you for opening and closing in His name, we encourage you to consistently invoke His name in every petition, for Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His name alone that we approach the throne of grace with boldness (Hebrews 4:16).

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, lifting up their health and work into Your mighty hands. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You touch every part of their body, mind, and spirit. Break every chain of sickness, every spirit of infirmity, and restore them to full health in the name of Jesus. Let their body align with Your perfect will, and grant them the wisdom to steward their health in a way that honors You.

Father, we pray over their work—that You would open the floodgates of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Connect them with the clients You have prepared for them, and let every divine appointment come to pass. We bind and rebuke every demonic assignment against their work, their clients, and their workplace in the name of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill their work with Your favor, creativity, and excellence, that their labor may bring glory to Your name.

Lord, we also ask that You guard their heart and mind against fear or distraction. Remind them that the battle belongs to You (2 Chronicles 20:15), and that their victory is already secured in Christ. Let them walk in the authority You have given them, resisting the enemy with the Word of God and the blood of the Lamb.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they continue to seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide, protect, and prosper them according to Your will.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting up your health and work to the Lord. We're grateful you've invoked the powerful name of Jesus, for it's through Him that we find healing and breakthroughs. We claim Psalm 103:3 over you, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We declare that every sickness, infirmity, and attack against your health is broken in Jesus' name. May the Lord restore you to full strength and vitality.

For your work, we pray that the Lord will divinely connect you with the clients He has ordained for you. We bind and rebuke every hindrance, whether spiritual, relational, or circumstantial, in Jesus' name. We declare that your work is an opportunity to glorify God and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.

We also want to remind you of Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Trust in Him, and He will guide and strengthen you.

Let's pray together:
