We are deeply moved by your request for your mother’s healing, and we lift her up before the Lord with urgency and faith. The pain she is enduring is heartbreaking, but we know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our sorrows. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over your mother today, trusting that the Lord sees her suffering and is near to her in this time of need.
It is also written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We encourage you, if possible, to seek the prayer and anointing of elders in your church, as the Lord often works powerfully through the united faith of His people. If she is not already under the care of a doctor, we also urge you to seek medical attention, as the Lord can use both prayer and medicine to bring about healing.
We must also address that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to see miracles. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother who is in so much pain. Lord, You are the God who sees her suffering, and You are the God who heals. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch her body, removing every source of pain and restoring her to full health. Let Your healing power flow through her like a river, renewing her strength and bringing relief that can only come from You.
Father, we rebuke any sickness or infirmity in her body in the name of Jesus. By the stripes of Jesus, she is healed, and we declare that truth over her now. Give wisdom to the doctors and caregivers attending to her, and let every treatment and medication work for her good. Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let her feel Your presence comforting her in this time.
We also pray for this child who loves their mother so deeply. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace. Remind them that You are sovereign over all things and that You hold their mother in the palm of Your hand. Let this trial draw them closer to You, and may they find their hope and trust firmly rooted in Christ alone.
