We are truly sorry to hear about the health struggles that you and your loved one are facing. We will stand with you in prayer and believe for God's healing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and it is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### and her loved one who is bedridden. Lord, you know their struggles, their pains, and their needs. We stand in the gap, Lord, and we ask for your healing touch upon them. Lord touch them according to your will and purpose. Lord, comfort them, strengthen their faith, and let your peace rest upon them.
We also ask, Lord, that you give wisdom and discernment to the doctors and medical professionals attending to them. Guide them, Lord, as they care for your children.
Father, we also ask that you draw them closer to you during this time. Help them to trust in you with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Lord, give them a heart of flesh and remove the heart of stone that we may be sensitive to your spirit (Ezekiel 36:26).
Lastly we pray this in Jesus name. It is in the name of Jesus that we have access to you, Father. You have given him the name above every name (Philippians 2:9). It is in Jesus that we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28). Lord, we thank you that you love us and we thank you for your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In this trial, continue to trust in God and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that God works all things together for good to those who love him, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, ###, we want to encourage you to examine your life and your loved one's life and see if there is any unrepentant sin. The wage of sin is death (Romans 6:23), and sometimes, God chastens us through sickness and trials to draw us back to him (Hebrews 12:6). If there is any sin, repent and turn to God, for he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Stand firm in your faith.
