We are truly sorry to hear about the chronic gastritis and the emotional distress that comes with it. We stand with you in prayer, believing that our compassionate God hears our prayers and is able to heal and restore.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's will is for us to be whole in spirit, soul, and body. The Bible tells us that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38 WEB). We believe that healing is part of the atonement that Jesus provided for us on the cross. As it is written, "Who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed" (1 Peter 2:24 WEB).
However, we also want to address that the power of Jesus to heal comes through His name and acknowledging Him as the true source. We only have access and can only be saved through His name. For the Scripture says:
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
and
"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
We pray that He reveals Himself to you as the healer and savior. It is by His stripes you can be healed.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who is suffering from chronic gastritis. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that You would restore their health and make their medical reports come back fine. We also pray for their emotional well-being, that You would lift their spirits and fill them with Your joy and peace. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and finisher of our faith. We thank you for the glory and healing that will provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking His face, and trusting in His goodness. Remember that even in your struggles, God is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to endure and overcome.
Also, consider going to the elders of a local Christian church for prayer and anointing with oil in the name of the Lord. As the Bible says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:14-16 WEB).
