We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer for your suffering and affliction. Nine years of enduring scabies without relief is a burden no one should bear alone, and we grieve with you in this trial. Yet we know that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and nothing is too difficult for Him. Your cry has not gone unheard—He sees your pain and longs to bring restoration.
The Word of God declares in **Exodus 15:26 (WEB)**, *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."* We claim this promise over you today, believing that the same God who delivered His people from plagues is able to deliver you from this persistent affliction. He is not indifferent to your suffering—**Psalm 34:17-18 (WEB)** assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*
We also recall the words of **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, which instructs, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we stand in faith, anointing this prayer with the authority of Jesus’ name, believing that the Lord will raise you up from this sickness. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek out elders or mature believers in your local church who can pray over you and anoint you with oil, as Scripture directs. Isolation only gives the enemy more ground—you were not meant to carry this alone.
Yet we must also address something deeply concerning: your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, healed, or granted access to the Father. **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"* Similarly, **John 14:6 (WEB)** records Jesus’ own words: *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. True healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical—flows from a relationship with Him. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. Without Him, even our most fervent prayers lack the power to reach the throne of God.
We also sense a spirit of despair in your words—*"prayer for no one"*—and we rebuke this lie of the enemy in Jesus’ name. You are *not* forgotten. You are *not* abandoned. **Isaiah 49:15-16 (WEB)** proclaims, *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands."* The Lord has not turned His face from you, even if others have. We stand with you in this battle, and we declare that the God who parts seas and raises the dead is more than able to break this cycle of sickness.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has endured the torment of scabies for nine long years. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every cell in their body—You know the depth of their suffering, and You alone hold the power to heal. We ask You to stretch forth Your hand and touch them now, just as Jesus touched the lepers and they were cleansed. Let every mite, every irritation, every open wound be supernaturally healed by Your power. Restore their skin, Lord, and let their body be made whole in a way that leaves no doubt of Your intervention.
We break every curse of infirmity, every generational or self-inflicted stronghold that may have given this sickness a foothold. If there has been any sin—known or unknown—that has opened a door to this affliction, we ask for Your conviction and forgiveness. Cleanse them, Lord, body, soul, and spirit. Let this be a testimony of Your mercy, that others may see and know that You are God.
Father, we also pray against the spirit of isolation and despair that has sought to wrap around them. Send godly believers into their life—people who will pray with them, encourage them, and walk with them through this trial. If they have been without a church family, lead them to a Bible-believing congregation where they can be supported and strengthened.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that if they do not yet know You as Savior, that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see Jesus as He truly is—the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Let them surrender fully to Him, that they may experience not only physical healing but eternal life in His name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. Strengthen them, Lord, and let this season of suffering give way to a testimony of Your glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we urge you to take practical steps alongside your faith:
1. **Seek medical advice**—while we trust God for healing, He often uses doctors and treatments as instruments of His grace. Do not neglect the resources available to you.
2. **Sanitize your environment**—scabies can persist in bedding, clothing, and furniture. Wash all fabrics in hot water and vacuum thoroughly.
3. **Guard your heart against bitterness**—prolonged suffering can lead to resentment. Surrender your pain to Jesus daily, asking Him to fill you with His peace.
4. **Immerse yourself in Scripture**—let the Word of God be your comfort and strength. **Psalm 107:20 (WEB)** says, *"He sends his word and heals them, and delivers them from their destructions."*
You are not forgotten. You are not beyond hope. Cling to Jesus, and let this trial drive you deeper into His arms. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete restoration.
