Prayer for healing ### from sickness

We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this plea for healing with hearts full of faith, knowing that He is the Great Physician who hears and answers prayer. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore health and strength, for nothing is impossible for Him.

Yet we also recognize that healing may come in different forms—whether through physical restoration, strengthened faith, or the peace that surpasses understanding. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord told Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* So we pray not only for recovery but also for the grace to endure, trusting that God’s will is perfect, even when we do not fully understand His ways.

However, we must also address something vital: this prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ explicitly, though we have done so now. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If the one praying does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him in repentance and faith, for He alone holds the power of life and healing.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, lifting up this beloved one who is suffering. You are the God who heals, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every fiber of our being. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her body, restoring her to full health and strength. Remove every sickness, every pain, and every infirmity, for Your glory and her well-being.

Lord, if there is any sin that needs to be confessed or forgiven, we ask that You would reveal it and grant repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Fill her with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for those caring for her—give them wisdom, strength, and compassion. May this trial draw her closer to You, deepening her faith and trust in Your sovereign goodness. Whether You choose to heal her instantly, gradually, or call her home to be with You, may Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through it all.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your love and Your perfect plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her, Lord, and let her life be a testimony of Your grace and power.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
