Prayer for healing for ###

We intercede with you, ###, for your boyfriend's healing and freedom from past traumas. We believe that God can heal and restore, as the Word of God says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, pleading for our brother's healing. We ask that You touch his heart, Lord, and deliver him from all past traumas and hurts. Help him to forgive those who have wronged him, just as You have forgiven us. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15 WEB) Help him to let go of the past and move forward in the freedom You have given him.
However, we also want to address that the Bible encourages relationships that lead to God-honoring marriages between a man and a woman. We encourage both of you to seek God's will for your relationship and to pursue purity and holiness, as God's Word instructs, "But sexual immorality and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints." (Ephesians 5:3 WEB)
Lastly, we want to remind you that it's through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) If you or your boyfriend haven't already, we encourage you to commit your lives to Jesus Christ and make Him the Lord of your lives.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
