We are truly sorry to hear about your cousin's condition and the pain your family is experiencing. We want to remind you that God always hears your prayers. As it is written in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
In times of distress, it's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He sees the bigger picture and works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
We must also remember that healing can come in many forms, and physical healing in this life is not guaranteed. God may choose to heal your cousin miraculously, or He may choose to draw your cousin and your family closer to Him through this trial. Trust that God is working, even in this difficult situation.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her cousin. Lord, You know the pain they are going through, and You hear their cries. We ask for Your healing touch on her cousin. If it is Your will, restore his health and give him many more years of life. Help him and his family to trust in You, no matter the outcome. Give them the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray for our sister, that You would comfort her and remind her of Your love for her. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Give her the strength to endure this trial and to trust in You.
And finally thank you for the precious gift of Your Son Jesus Christ who paid the price for our sins and rose again to offer us salvation and eternal life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ and belief in his resurrection that we can approach God and have eternal life after death. If you have not already accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, this is the time to cry out to God for forgiveness of your sins. If you would like more information about how to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, please reach out to us. We would be happy to discuss this further with you.
