Let us come before God in Jesus' name.
Happiness is something we all strive for, but we must understand that true joy and contentment come from knowing Jesus Christ and having a right relationship with Him.
Please understand the source of true joy. Nehemiah 8:10 said, "Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for today is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved; for the joy of Yahweh is your strength." This verse shows us that we can only find happiness from God and in Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we pray that you can experience the love of God the Father, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. May you find your strength and joy in Him.
Jesus said in John 15:11, "I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full." Therefore, we pray that you will know Jesus Christ if you do not already have a relationship with Him.
Let us pray.
Father, we lift up this person to You, asking that You reveal Yourself to them in a new and powerful way. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and the joy that comes from knowing You. Restore their happiness and give them a renewed sense of purpose and hope.
We also pray for their children. May they be surrounded by Your love and grow up to know and serve You. Give this parent the wisdom and strength to guide their children in Your ways.
In all of this be glorified in Jesus' name.
IJN (In Jesus Name), we pray. Amen.
If you are struggling with unhappiness, we encourage you not to dwell on the feeling. Instead, focus on Jesus, the source of all joy. Read His word, the Bible, and talk to Him in prayer. Rest in His promises and trust in His love for you.
You may find this verse inspiring from Romans 15:13, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."
May you find happiness in His promises and in His love for you.
