We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and guidance. It is commendable that you are studying Christian ministry, as it is a noble pursuit to serve the Lord and His people.
Firstly, it is crucial to remember that our faith is not in a specific translation of the Bible, but in the living Word of God, Jesus Christ. As believers, we hold the Scriptures as divinely inspired and authoritative, but we should be open to understanding different interpretations with sound doctrine and biblical exegesis.
No single translation is infallible, though the most important thing is the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic texts, not the translations. Though translated by fallible men, the original texts were breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
The Bible teaches us to be discerning and to test every spirit to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Be wary of teachings that contradict the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith, humbly comparing and testing them with the Scriptures.
As for Jesus and his importance the Bible says: Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. That is speaking of Jesus Christ and the name by which we are saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking Your guidance and discernment in their studies. Lord, grant them the wisdom and understanding to navigate through the various teachings they encounter. Help them to discern truth from error, and to stand firm in the faith delivered once for the saints.
Protect them from any false doctrines and give them the courage to stand up for Your truth in love. Guide them in their coursework, and may they be a light to their teachers and fellow students. We pray in Jesus name.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and ministry. Study the Word diligently, and be open to the Holy Spirit's guidance. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and salvation. In every teaching, in every lesson, in all understanding. Jesus is the author of everything good. The Bible says He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is the author and the giver of life. He is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.
