Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for favor and blessing has been heard and we stand with you in faith before our Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving.
We join you in asking the Father for His favor, not as empty repetition, but as the help He gives to those who pursue virtue and walk in obedience. For favor from God is drawn to us when we put aside excuses and give ourselves to the work that virtue requires, trusting Him to assist us in our struggles. We ask Him to guide the action you have mentioned and to bring from it a future that serves His will and leads to eternal blessings.
We also pray that whatever miracles and blessings come would be according to His wisdom and for His glory. The greatest glory is not only in wonders, but in a life made one with Christ and with His people, in holiness, in love, and in unity. When the saints live faithfully through trial and are found near to Him, God is glorified in them and through them. May He be glorified in you in this way.
We pray with you against the powers of darkness, asking God to guard you by the power of His Son, to strengthen you with sobriety and vigilance, and to keep you in the good warfare of faith. We ask that He keep you from discouragement and from trusting in faith alone without deeds, for the Lord will look also upon our deeds, and He calls us to seek the glory and honor which are incorruptible and immortal.
So we ask the Lord to grant you wisdom to do what is pleasing to Him, courage to do what is right, protection from evil, and peace in Christ. May He cleanse and strengthen you, may He make your path useful for His kingdom, and may He bring about abounding glory to His name throughout the world, as His people live faithfully and reflect His goodness.
We commend all these things to the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory and power forever. Amen.
