Prayer For Granddaughter

I have a 15 year old granddaughter who my husband and I helped raise. Her mother asked us for help in 09 and wanted to come back home and live after remarrying and having anoher child (her 4th -- she gave up two). We have had problems with her before, but for our granddaughter's sake we allowed her to come back into our home and lives. After a year of helping her and allowing her to stay in our home she has rejoined her husband (which is good), but had decided because of differences of opinion she does not want our granddaughter to have anything to do with us. This has broken our hearts and has been very depressing. I know that when my granddaughter turns 18 she can make her own choices, but in the meantime no contact is allowed. My granddaughter's father, our son, can't get anywhere with this either. The prayer is: A change of heart for the Mother, her mother (who hates us) and for the granddaughter to be able to come back to us. The negative influence is great in that home where we are concerned. Don't know were else to turn. We are Christians and have a church family, but have not said too much to our church family about this. Prayer is defintely needed.

Father, I pray that you will break the bonds that is hindering these grandparents from having a normal relationship with their granddaughter. Soften the Heart of this mother and allow her to let these Grandparents into the life of their granddaughter. Jesus send the Holy Spirit to work on both sides. God Bless them for asking for Prayer.

Lord I lift of your children in this time of need. I pray that their daughter will open her eyes and see that her family loves her and her daughter. Lord I pray that you will touch her heart and be the difference in their lives. I pray that the granddaughter will always know that she is loved and that her family wants her around even though her mother is not allowing that at this moment. Give them strength Lord. I pray that thy will be done. In Jesus name Amen.
