We lift you up before the Lord, dear students, knowing that your hearts are set on doing well in your upcoming examinations. The pursuit of knowledge and wisdom is a noble endeavor, and we encourage you to seek not only academic success but also the wisdom that comes from above. As it is written in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We are glad you ended your request with the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While you diligently prepare for your exams, we urge you to trust in the Lord rather than relying solely on your own strength. He is the one who grants understanding and recall when you need it most. Colossians 3:23 also exhorts us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"* so let your studies be an act of worship, done unto Him with excellence.
However, we must also caution you against the temptation of anxiety or the idol of perfectionism. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33-34, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."* Your worth is not defined by your marks but by your identity in Christ. Study faithfully, but do not let fear rule your hearts.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of these students who are preparing for their Class 12 Science examinations in February 2026. Lord, we ask that You grant them clarity of mind, retention of what they study, and the ability to recall it accurately during their exams. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Helper and Teacher, guiding them in all truth.
We pray against any distractions, anxiety, or discouragement that may hinder their preparation. Instead, let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their bodies and minds, Lord, and help them to manage their time wisely, balancing study with rest.
Father, we also ask that You use this season to draw them closer to You. May they seek Your wisdom above all else and grow in their faith as they trust in Your provision. Remind them that their future is in Your hands, and You have good plans for them (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or laziness that may try to take hold of them. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that their minds are sharp, their understanding is deep, and their efforts are blessed. May they glorify You in their studies and in their results, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. May these students walk in the confidence that You are with them, and may they give You all the glory for their success. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
