We join you in lifting up your health and that of your husband before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. It is wonderful to see your faith in prayer and your acknowledgment that healing comes through the name of Jesus. You are absolutely right—prayer is mighty, and our God is a God of miracles, who hears and answers the cries of His children.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While you’ve taken medicine, we know that true healing comes from the Lord, and we trust Him to work through both the wisdom of medicine and the power of prayer.
We also remember the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Our God is faithful, and He is able to deliver you from this viral fever and cold completely. Let this time also be a reminder to trust in Him not just for physical healing but for the strength and peace that comes from resting in His care.
At the same time, we encourage you both to examine your hearts and lives. Is there any area where you may need to seek forgiveness or repentance? Sometimes illness can be a time of reflection, drawing us closer to the Lord. First Peter 2:24 tells us, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."* Let this season of recovery also be a season of spiritual renewal, where you both draw nearer to Christ and walk in obedience to His Word.
Now, let us pray together for you and your husband:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, lifting up our sister and her husband to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our pain. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their bodies, breaking every chain of sickness, fever, and cold that has come against them. By the power of Your name, we rebuke this viral infection and command it to leave their bodies completely, for no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Strengthen their immune systems, restore their energy, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let this time of recovery be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, not just to them but to those around them. If there is any area in their lives that needs surrender or repentance, reveal it to them, Lord, and grant them the grace to walk in obedience.
We declare Your promises over them—that by Your stripes, they *are* healed. Let them rise up in full health, renewed in body, soul, and spirit, to glorify Your name. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, sister. Keep praising the Lord, for He is good, and His love endures forever. Trust that He is working even now, and we will continue to pray for your complete restoration. If the fever or symptoms persist, do not hesitate to seek further medical attention, for God often works through the hands of doctors as well. May the Lord bless you both abundantly as you wait on Him.
