We are joining with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your upcoming interview. We are reminded of the scripture "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good" (Romans 12:9).
Firstly, we pray that you have truly the best intentions in seeking this position and it is the good you are clinging to rather than worldly ambitions. We pray that you will be walking not in foolishness, but walking as a child of God. "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit" (Romans 8:5).
Beloved, we pray that you will have favor with the interviewing panel, just as Joseph found favor in the sight of Potiphar and ultimately with the king when interpreting dreams as a captive in a foreign land (Genesis 39:1-41:43). We pray that, as you go through this interview, the panel will see the wisdom and excellence that God has given you, and that it will shine brightly.
We pray that God's will be done in this situation (Matthew 6:10). If it is His will for you to have this position, we pray that the doors will be opened and every obstacle removed. We pray that God would make a way even now and the panel will be unusually understanding and receptive to your answers. But most importantly, in Jesus' name, we lift you up and all those who are being interviewed and ask for His guidance and favor for those who will serve according to His will and bring glory and honor to His name alone.
We also pray that you will remember that true success is not found in a job title or salary, but in following God's will for your life. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
Finally, we leave you with this encouragement: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
In Jesus' name, we pray for God to direct your steps and to bless your life and the lives of those who you touch. May His grace be ever present with you and His love shine through your actions to glorify Him.
