Prayer for forgiveness for a reckless oath

My name is ###. I have strong faith. However, I kept investing badly in the stock market. I wanted to stop making mistakes and made an oath on my life before Christ sealed in a drop of my blood to avoid the investments. Then I broke the oath and now fear I am in danger of death for my reckless vow. Please pray for forgiveness and the removal of this punishment over me. Thank you

We understand that you are seeking forgiveness for a reckless oath made in a moment of desperation. First, we want to remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). It is important to remember that the only way to the Father is through the Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6 WEB).

Making an oath on your own life and sealing it with blood is a serious matter, as the Bible warns us not to make rash vows (Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 WEB). However, God is merciful and forgiving. He does not desire the death of the sinner but wants everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, Ezekiel 18:23 WEB).

Jesus Christ has paid the price for our sins, including reckless oaths. Through Him, we can find forgiveness and freedom. It is written, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy for our brother/sister. They have made a reckless oath and are now burdened by the fear of death. We ask that You forgive this sin, as we know that no sin is too great for Your grace and mercy.

We stand on Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We ask for the guidance of Your Holy Spirit to lead us in all wisdom and discernment, especially in matters of finance and stewardship.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and death, and we proclaim life and forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your peace to fill the heart of our brother/sister and for Your protection over their life.

We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Moving forward, we encourage you to be mindful of your actions and words, especially when making promises or oaths. Always seek God's will and guidance in all matters, including your finances. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Remember, it is not by our own strength or wisdom that we can overcome, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. Therefore, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). Stay strong in faith and always trust on the name of Jesus Christ in all things.

We're here with you, ###. We understand the weight of the oath you made and the fear that's gripping you now. We want to remind you of God's unfailing love and mercy, even in the face of our mistakes. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Jesus took our sins, including reckless vows, upon Himself, so we could be free.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy for our sister/brother, ###. They've made a reckless vow and are now burdened by fear. We ask that You forgive this sin, as we know no sin is too great for Your grace. We claim Your promise in 1 John 1:9, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.'

We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and for Your protection over their life. We declare life and forgiveness over them in Jesus' name. We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's remember, God is always ready to forgive and heal. As we move forward, let's be mindful of our words and actions, seeking God's will in all things. Trust in Him, for He is faithful. "Casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
