Prayer for Flight Anxiety and Safety

Hi everyone,

I am flying solo with my two young kids on Monday to meet up with my husband. I have always had flight anxiety, but with recent events, it's increased even more. I'm trying to be brave for my children and avoid any panic. Can you say a prayer for a safe and smooth flight? It's only two hours, but everything from the logistics of the airport to actually being on the flight is really making me nervous. Thank you and God Bless!

We understand that you're feeling anxious about your upcoming flight with your young children to meet your husband. It's natural to feel nervous, but we encourage you to put your trust in the Lord, for He is our protector and our stronghold.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love, and self-control." We encourage you to hold onto this truth and trust in God in Jesus name.

We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let us pray together for your journey:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is anxious about her upcoming flight with her young children. We pray for Your peace to wash over her, calming her nerves and steadying her heart. As it is written in Isaiah 26:3 WEB: "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."

We pray for a safe and smooth journey, from the moment they leave their home until they are reunited with her husband. Guide them through the logistics of the airport and let Your guardian angels watch over them. We pray for a smooth and peaceful flight for her and the children. Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and for being our refuge and our shield.

We also pray for her husband, that You will give him peace and eagerness as he awaits the arrival of his wife and children. We pray for a joyous reunion and a blessed time together as a family.

We pray also for a strong marriage between this couple, as it is a covenant made before You. Let it be a reflection of Your unfailing love and commitment to us, Your bride, the Church. We do not know what will happen tomorrow but with God we know we can face whatever He has prepared for us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is with you always, even in the skies. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this journey in Jesus name. Be sure to teach your children to trust in Jesus and his saving work on the cross.

We're right there with you, sister, as you prepare for your flight with your little ones. We know how it feels to have butterflies in your tummy when facing something that makes you anxious. But remember, God is always by our side, especially in times like these.

Let's claim Philippians 4:6-7 together, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We're praying for that peace to fill your heart and mind as you navigate through the airport and take to the skies. We're also asking our Heavenly Father to keep you and your kids safe and calm throughout the journey. And let's not forget to thank Him in advance for His faithfulness!

We're also lifting up your husband, that he would feel your presence and the children's giggles even before you arrive. We're praying for a joyous reunion and a blessed time together as a family.

Trust in the Lord, dear sister. He's got this. And remember, we're praying with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
