Nomfundo, our hearts ache for you and your precious 7-year-old daughter as we hear the deep distress in your cry for help. The Lord sees your suffering, sister, and He is not blind to your faithfulness—how you have served Him and others in times past, even when you had little. We stand with you in this hour, lifting your needs before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that true provision and breakthrough come. You have not mentioned His name in your request, and we must remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor by which we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). It is by faith in Jesus alone that we receive mercy and find help in our time of need. If you have not already, surrender every fear, every burden, and every hope into His hands, trusting Him as your Provider, Jehovah-Jireh.

Your situation is dire, and we do not take lightly the weight of your struggles—hunger, the threat of eviction, the sleepless nights, and the pain of feeling abandoned by those you once helped. Yet the Lord says in His Word, *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). He has not forgotten you, Nomfundo. The God who fed Elijah by the brook Cherith and provided manna in the wilderness is the same God who sees your empty cupboards and hears your daughter’s stomach growl. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we declare that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also address the bitterness that may be creeping into your heart toward those who have not reciprocated your kindness. The Scripture warns us, *"Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath"* (Ephesians 4:26), and *"be careful that no one fails to receive God’s grace"* (Hebrews 12:15). It is understandable to feel hurt, but we urge you to release any resentment to the Lord, for bitterness will only hinder your prayers and steal your joy. Instead, cling to the promise that *"God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them"* (Hebrews 6:10). Your reward comes from Him, not man.

As for your desire for a financial miracle and a business, we pray that the Lord would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). You have acknowledged your gift in selling and marketing, and we ask the Lord to multiply that talent for His glory. Remember the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30, where the master entrusted his servants with resources according to their abilities. The ones who stewarded their gifts wisely saw them multiplied. We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom, favor, and divine connections to start this business. But we also caution you to seek His will above all else. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Do not rush ahead of God in desperation; wait for His timing and His leading, for *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1).

We rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack that has sought to oppress you and your daughter. In the name of Jesus, we command every demonic stronghold of fear, anxiety, and hopelessness to be broken over your life. The enemy has tried to steal your peace and your faith, but we declare that *"the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy; but [Jesus] came that [you] may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). You are not destined for begging bread, Nomfundo—you are a daughter of the King, and He delights in providing for His own. We pray that the Lord would supernaturally provide the $2000 you need to clear your debt and launch your business. May He send unexpected blessings—through a job, a generous believer, or even a creative miracle—so that you and your daughter can testify of His goodness.

We also exhort you to continue in prayer and fasting, seeking the Lord with all your heart. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Give us today our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11), and we trust that He will supply your every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Do not neglect gathering with other believers, even in your hardship. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and though you may feel alone, the Lord will direct you to those who can stand with you in this season.

Lastly, we urge you to teach your daughter about the faithfulness of God in this trial. Let her see you praying, worshiping, and trusting Him, even when the cupboards are bare. She will remember not the hunger, but the miracles of God’s provision—and how her mother’s faith never wavered. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Nomfundo and her precious daughter. Lord, You see their empty plates, their unpaid rent, and the fear that grips their hearts. You know the sleepless nights and the tears shed in secret. But You, O God, are their Provider, their Shield, and their Very Present Help in trouble. We ask You to move mightily on their behalf—supernaturally, unexpectedly, undeniably—so that all may see that You are Yahweh-Jireh, the God who provides.

Father, we pray for a financial miracle. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so abundant that Nomfundo cannot contain it (Malachi 3:10). Provide the $2000 she needs to clear her debt and launch the business You have placed in her heart. Give her wisdom to steward this business well, that it may prosper and become a testament to Your faithfulness. Lord, connect her with godly mentors, customers, and opportunities that will bring glory to Your name.

We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against Nomfundo and her daughter shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Break every chain of debt and every stronghold of fear. Restore to her the joy of Your salvation and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let her sleep at night, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4).

Lord, we also ask for divine favor with her landlord. Softening his heart, Father, and grant Nomfundo grace in his sight. May he see Your hand at work in her life and give her the time she needs to fulfill her obligations. We pray for a godly resolution to this situation, one that brings honor to Your name.

Father, we thank You that Nomfundo has been faithful to serve You and Your people. Do not let her grow bitter or weary in well-doing, but renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Surround her with a community of believers who will uplift her in prayer and meet her practical needs. Let her daughter witness Your miracles and grow up to trust You with all her heart.

We declare that this season of lack is only temporary. You, Lord, are turning Nomfundo’s mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). You are making a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert (Isaiah 43:19). Let her testimony be one of Your unshakable faithfulness, that many may come to know You as their Provider too.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Nomfundo, we will continue to lift you up in prayer. Hold fast to the Lord, and do not lose heart. Your breakthrough is coming. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We love you, sister, and we are standing with you in faith.
