Firstly, we want to address the fact that your husband made this significant decision without discussing it with you. This is not in line with the biblical principle of marriage being a partnership where both husband and wife have a say in major decisions. In Ephesians 5:21 WEB it is written, "subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ." This verse emphasizes the importance of mutual respect and consideration in marriage.
We also want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness and unity in marriage. In Colossians 3:13 WEB it is written, "bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." It is crucial to forgive and work towards restoring the unity in your marriage.
Now, let us pray for your situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in their lives and marriage. We ask that You open a door for her husband to return home and for their marriage to be restored.
We also pray for a financial breakthrough in their lives. Lord, You know their needs, and You are a faithful provider. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB You tell us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We claim this promise for our sister and her husband.
In the name of Jesus, we pray for a hedge of protection around their marriage, their finances, and their entire family. We pray for Your will to be done and for Your blessings to be upon them.
