We understand that you're going through a difficult time financially, and we want you to know that we're here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In times of financial struggle, it's important to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? 'Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? 'Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
While we pray for your financial assistance, we also encourage you to trust in God and seek His kingdom first. Also consider Proverbs 3:5-6:
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in financial need. We ask that You, our Jehovah Jireh, would provide for his/her needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray for financial assistance that would come from sources that bring glory to Your name and promote Your kingdom. We also pray for wisdom and guidance for our sibling in Christ, that he/she would make wise financial decisions and learn to trust in You more deeply during this time. Help us all to remember that You are our provider and that we can trust in You for all our needs.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to be open to guidance from mature Christians regarding financial advice. It's possible that there may be some decisions or actions you can take to help your situation.
