Hello - I am requesting prayer for my fiancee and his young daughter. He is in a visitation/custody battle for his young daughter that has been on-going for 3 and a half years. He is a loving father and wants no more than to spend more time with his daughter as she leaves infancy and enters childhood. He wants to support his daughter and be a part of her life. He wants her to grow up knowing her father and knowing how much he loves her. He would give the world to her if he could. He is not looking to take her from her mother nor replace her as a mother for his daughter. He wants his relationship with his daugther to grow continuously. He wants his fair share of his responsibilities as her father and his fair share of her time. NO matter his physical location, current relationship or troubled past with the mother.
I pray for his daughters' mother to better understand how grateful she should be to have her daugthers' father wanting to be a part of her daughters' life. I pray for her to let go of the past and let go of her anger against him and his current relationship decisions. I pray for both of them to understand their decisions as parents and understand the affects of the situation on their daughter. I pray that they understand what is best for the growth of their daughter and her future.
I pray that the battle comes to an end soon for them and that the best interests of the child are seen and ordered by the court.
- Amen
Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
