We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up this request for financial favor and provision. Heavenly Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision as our Jehovah Jireh. We ask that You bless this dear one with favor in their finances, particularly regarding their income tax return. Lord, we pray that You would move swiftly on their behalf, causing their return to come early so that they may pay their bills and meet their needs. We declare that their bank account will not be overdrawn, but instead, You will provide abundantly according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Father, we are reminded of Your Word in Philippians 4:19, which says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that You will meet every need in this situation. We also recall Proverbs 3:9-10, which instructs us to honor You with our wealth, and in return, our barns will be filled with plenty. Lord, we pray that this individual would honor You with their finances, and as they do, You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that they will not have room enough to receive.
However, we must also address the importance of seeking You first in all things. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus teaches us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We encourage this dear one to seek You first, to trust in Your provision, and to manage their finances wisely. We pray that they would be a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to them.
Lord, we also rebuke any spirit of lack or poverty in the name of Jesus. We declare that this individual is not subject to financial bondage, but they are a child of the Most High God, and their Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills. We speak abundance, provision, and favor over their life. We pray that You would bless the work of their hands and cause their income to increase.
Father, we ask that You would also give them wisdom in their financial decisions. Help them to budget wisely, to avoid unnecessary debt, and to be content with what they have, as Your Word instructs us in Hebrews 13:5, "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the name by which we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of this dear one. May they experience Your provision and favor in a tangible way, and may their heart be drawn closer to You as they see Your hand at work in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
