The desire for a better-paying job is one He understands, for Scripture reminds us that *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"* (Psalm 23:1, WEB). Yet we must also remember that our trust is not in the job itself, but in the One who opens doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). It is by His favor, not our own efforts or the "positive thoughts" of others, that true breakthrough comes. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Let us not lean on human wisdom or generic well-wishes, but anchor our hope in Christ alone, through whom all blessings flow.
That said, we notice your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12; Hebrews 4:16).
