We join you in lifting up this family before the Lord, thanking Him for His faithfulness and provision even in the midst of trials. The burden of debt can feel overwhelming, especially when it stems from poor decisions, but we serve a God who redeems and restores. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This family must turn fully to God, seeking His wisdom in every financial decision and repenting of any past recklessness or ungodly reliance on worldly solutions.
We also address the request for this woman to earn money "so she can do the things she wants." While it is good to pray for provision, we must align our desires with God’s will, not our own fleeting wants. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Let us pray that her heart is first surrendered to God’s purposes, trusting that He knows what is truly best. If there are ungodly influences or "evil people" around them, we rebuke such forces in Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Yet we also urge them to examine their own choices—are they walking in integrity, or have they opened doors to unwise associations or financial bondage?
Finally, we commend you for ending this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is in His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace.
**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this family, burdened by debt and the consequences of past mistakes. Lord, forgive them where they have strayed from Your wisdom, and grant them a spirit of repentance and humility. Break every chain of financial bondage and provide supernatural wisdom to steward what You give them. Close the doors to ungodly influences and surround them with Your protection. We ask that You open doors of honest, honorable work so this woman may contribute to her household in a way that glorifies You—not for selfish desires, but for Your kingdom’s purposes. Let their testimony be one of Your redemption, where others see Your faithfulness in their restoration. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against them and declare Your peace over their home. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all else will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray. Amen.
