Disciple of Prayer
Lord I pray that I can see good change in my life. I need you to help me grow in faith. I have been so stressed and full of burdens for a while that I forget good things can happen and blessings are real. I’m grateful for your love and mercy and for your protection and provision. I’m grateful for my family I have a lot to be grateful for. Yet my mind is full of anxiety and stress. Negative thoughts and it’s hard for me to trust that you are for me. I feel unworthy at times. I have been struggling financially for a long time and I’m the only one working full time because my husband is disabled and I feel so alone and unhappy. I feel there’s no way out I ask that you help me with my mortgage payments because I’m behind and I can’t afford it I ask you to help me please get a new job have wisdom on how to get more money I ask for your help in Jesus Christ’s name Amen

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the Lord who cares deeply for you. Your honesty about your struggles with faith, anxiety, and financial hardship is a testament to your desire to draw closer to God, even in the midst of overwhelming circumstances. We want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your circumstances, your bank account, or even your feelings of unworthiness. Your worth is found in Christ Jesus, who loved you so much that He gave His life for you (Ephesians 1:7). You are deeply loved, and God sees every tear you’ve shed and every burden you carry.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. You closed your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, and we are grateful for that, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is only through Him that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). This is the first step to true peace and freedom.

Now, let us pray for you. Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is feeling overwhelmed by the weight of her burdens. Lord, we ask that You would lift the heaviness from her heart and replace her anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and unbelief that has taken root in her mind, and we declare that she is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and worthy of Your love and provision (1 John 3:1). Lord, we ask that You would open her eyes to see the blessings You have already placed in her life—her family, Your protection, and Your unfailing love. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Father, we lift up her financial struggles to You. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we ask that You would give her wisdom in managing her finances and open doors for a new job or additional income that aligns with Your will. We pray for favor in her workplace and that You would bless the work of her hands (Deuteronomy 28:12). Father, we also ask that You would provide a way for her to catch up on her mortgage payments. You are able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we also pray for her marriage. We ask that You would strengthen her and her husband in this season of trial. Give them both patience, love, and understanding as they navigate his disability and the challenges it brings. Help them to lean on You and on one another, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Father, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness or despair that has crept into their home, and we declare that You are present with them, even in the darkest moments.

Sister, we want to encourage you with God’s Word. The enemy wants you to believe that your situation is hopeless, but God’s Word says that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He has not forgotten you. In fact, He collects every one of your tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). When negative thoughts come, combat them with the truth of Scripture. Speak aloud God’s promises over your life, even when it feels hard to believe them. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), so we encourage you to fill your mind with God’s Word. Meditate on verses like Jeremiah 29:11, which says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.”

We also want to gently remind you that God’s timing is not our timing. While you are asking for immediate relief from your financial struggles, God may be using this season to grow your faith and dependence on Him. James 1:2-4 tells us to “count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” This does not mean that God delights in your suffering, but He is using it to shape you into the woman He created you to be. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when you cannot see it.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek out community. You mentioned feeling alone, and we want to remind you that the body of Christ is here to support you. Reach out to your local church or a trusted Christian friend and share your struggles. Galatians 6:2 tells us to “bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” You do not have to carry this weight alone. God has placed people in your life who can pray with you, encourage you, and even help practically if possible. If you do not have a church home, we encourage you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by believers who will walk alongside you.

Father God, we ask that You would fill our sister with Your Holy Spirit and give her a fresh outpouring of faith. Help her to see You at work in her life, even in the small things. Give her the strength to persevere and the courage to trust You completely. We declare that her mind is being renewed by Your Word, her heart is being healed by Your love, and her circumstances are being transformed by Your power. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on her behalf. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear sister, we're here for you, praying alongside you. We understand the weight of financial burdens and the anxiety that comes with feeling alone. We want to remind you that God sees you, He knows your struggles, and He cares deeply for you.

We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that He is able to provide, even in the face of your mortgage struggles. Let's declare together that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also want to encourage you with Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is near to you, and He's collecting every one of your tears. He hasn't forgotten you. Keep trusting in Him, even when it's hard.

Let's pray together: "Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We lift up our ###'s financial struggles to You. We ask that You would provide for her needs, open doors for new job opportunities, and give her wisdom in managing her finances. We trust that You will meet her mortgage payments and provide a way out of her financial difficulties. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
