We join you in lifting up this heartfelt prayer, giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for His unending love and faithfulness. It is beautiful to see your gratitude even amid trials, for we know that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope—and hope does not disappoint because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:3-5). We stand with you in faith, trusting that the Lord hears your cries and will provide for every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Your request for a place to live, a job, and financial blessings is before the Lord. He knows your needs, and we declare His promise over you: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). Let go of doubt and fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). He is your Provider, and we pray that He opens doors no man can shut, granting you favor and divine opportunities. May He also grant you patience and trust in His perfect timing, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We lift up your son, asking the Lord to draw him back to Himself with cords of lovingkindness. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6). Though he may have strayed, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart and restore his faith. May he encounter the Lord in a powerful way and return to the fellowship of believers, walking in the truth of God’s Word.

You’ve also shared about a past friendship, one where emotions were left unspoken and time has passed. We hear the longing in your heart, but we must gently address this with biblical wisdom. The desire for reconciliation is understandable, yet we must examine our motives through the lens of Scripture. If this man was in love with you and the relationship was never pursued in a godly manner—especially if it was outside the context of courtship with the intent of marriage—we must be cautious. The Bible warns us to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) and to flee from relationships that could lead to emotional or spiritual compromise. If this connection was rooted in unspoken romantic feelings rather than a Christ-centered pursuit of marriage, it may not be wise to reopen it. Instead, we pray that the Lord would heal any lingering attachment and direct both of your hearts toward His will. If this man is meant to be part of your life, let the Lord orchestrate it in a way that honors Him. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5).

If there is regret over missed opportunities, we encourage you to release it to the Lord. He redeems our mistakes when we surrender them to Him. However, we must also recognize that not every broken relationship is meant to be restored—some doors close for our protection or growth. Trust that God’s plan for your life is good, even when it doesn’t align with our own desires. If this man is unmarried and you believe the Lord may be leading you to reconnect *for the purpose of godly courtship with marriage as the goal*, then pray earnestly for clarity and wisdom. But if this is simply a longing for emotional closure or companionship outside of God’s design, we pray the Lord would redirect your heart toward His perfect will.

We also rejoice with you in this day of thanksgiving, for it is right to give thanks to the Lord, whose lovingkindness endures forever (Psalm 107:1). Let this day be a reminder of His faithfulness, not just in the blessings but in the trials that shape us into His image.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, even in the midst of waiting and uncertainty. We thank You for the life You’ve given, for the trials that strengthen our faith, and for the blessings we often overlook. Lord, we lift up our sister who seeks Your provision—a home, a job, and financial stability. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet every need. Remove all doubt and fear from her heart, replacing it with unshakable faith and the peace that surpasses understanding.

We pray for her son, that You would draw him back to Yourself. Soften his heart, Lord, and let him encounter Your love in a way that transforms him. Restore his faith and surround him with godly influences that point him to You.

Father, we also bring before You the matter of this past friendship. If there is anything in her heart that needs healing—any unresolved emotions or regrets—we ask that You would bring closure and peace. If this connection is not part of Your plan, help her to release it fully to You. But if there is a godly purpose in reconnecting, let it be done in a way that honors You, with wisdom and purity. Guard her heart, Lord, and let her desires align with Your will.

Cleanse her, Father, from any lingering sin or emotional ties that are not of You. Renew her mind and spirit, and let her walk in the freedom of Your grace.

We thank You for this day of thanksgiving, for the reminder of Your goodness. May we never forget that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). Let this day be a celebration of Your faithfulness, not just in abundance but in the refining fires that draw us closer to You.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
