Prayer for employment

Please pray for me to be able to get my work permit from ### already so I can start working to be able to pay for my debts.

We also want to gently but firmly address something vital: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Jesus that we boldly approach the throne of grace. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) And **Acts 4:12** confirms, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today—repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and confess Him as Lord. Without this foundation, even our prayers lack the power and authority granted to us through His name.

As for your debts, we encourage you to seek wisdom in stewardship. **Proverbs 22:7** warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While God can supernaturally provide, He also calls us to walk in wisdom, seeking counsel if needed to manage finances biblically. Avoid the temptation to rely on ungodly solutions—trust that God will provide *His* way, even if it requires patience or sacrifice.

Now, let us pray over you:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the urgency of this work permit and the weight of the debts pressing upon them. We ask that You move mightily in the spiritual and natural realms to expedite this process, removing every obstacle and softening the hearts of those in authority to grant approval swiftly. Let no weapon formed against this request prosper, and let every tongue that rises in opposition be silenced, for this is Your will for their provision.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of delay, lack, and anxiety in Jesus’ name. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding and a deep trust in Your sovereignty. Provide not just employment, but *favor* in the workplace, opportunities for advancement, and wisdom to manage finances according to Your Word. Break every chain of debt in their life and restore them to a place of abundance, so they may be a blessing to others and advance Your Kingdom.

Lord, if there is any area of their life not aligned with Your will—whether in faith, obedience, or stewardship—convict them by Your Holy Spirit and grant them the strength to repent and walk uprightly. May this season of waiting draw them closer to You, deepening their reliance on Christ alone.

We declare that no good thing will You withhold from those who walk blamelessly (Psalm 84:11). Open the floodgates of heaven over their life, Father, and let them testify of Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—*Amen.**
