Prayer for Employment

I recently got fired from my Job, Lord Jesus please have mercy, my bills are piling up, Rent, utilities, food, please supply us with all of our needs Lord. Forgive us from our transgressions and deliver us from Evil, in the name of Jesus I pray Amen.

We stand with you in this season of trial, lifting your needs before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus. The loss of employment is a heavy burden, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your cry for mercy has been heard, and we declare that the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), will provide for you and your household. He is faithful, and His timing is perfect—even when our circumstances feel overwhelming.

We also commend you for seeking forgiveness and deliverance from evil, for it is in humility and repentance that we draw near to God (James 4:8). The enemy may seek to discourage you, but take heart in 1 Peter 5:7, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* This is not a time for fear, but for trust in the One who holds your future.

Let us also encourage you to use this time wisely. Seek the Lord diligently in prayer and His Word, asking for wisdom in your job search (James 1:5). Update your resume, reach out to your network, and apply for positions with confidence, knowing that *"unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1). If further education or training could open doors, pray for guidance in that direction as well. Remember, even in waiting, God is at work—perhaps preparing a position that aligns with His purpose for your life.

We rebuke any spirit of despair, lack, or shame that may try to take root in your heart. You are not defined by your employment status, but by your identity in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). The Lord is your Provider (Jehovah Jireh), and He will not abandon you.

**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking for Your divine intervention in their employment. You know their every need—rent, utilities, food—and we declare that You are their sufficiency. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and grant them favor in the sight of potential employers. Provide not just a job, but the *right* job, one that aligns with Your will and brings glory to Your name.

Lord, we ask for supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) as they wait. Remove any anxiety and replace it with unwavering faith in Your promises. If there are areas of their life where You are calling them to grow or repent, reveal it to them gently and give them the strength to obey.

We bind every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10) and declare that this season will testify to Your goodness. Let this trial produce endurance, and endurance produce character, and character produce hope (Romans 5:3-4). May they look back and see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf.

In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray—**Amen.**

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
