Hi,
I have been frequently out of job. Recently, I was out of job again because of backstabbing/bad-mouthing by a Christian ex-colleague. I don't want to encounter such wicked colleagues, etc at work anymore. I would like to have unusual favour with my boss(es) and colleagues from my next job onwards. I can't go without a job much longer and so I would greatly appreciate urgent prayers on my behalf.
I would prefer to get an overseas position, partly because it's hard to get employment in my country because of my age. My personal preference is to teach ESL as a 2nd language. However, I have realised that it's difficult to get such a job because I am not a native speaker and also because I don't have the relevant qualifications. Nonetheless, I believe that nothing is impossible with God. Teaching is something that I like. So far, however, I have encountered frequent obstacles. I have never really done a job that I really like so far and so I would really like God to grant me this desire of my heart.
Recently, I have thought of doing online retail business and have sought the godly counsel of 3 friends, 2 of whom are for it. However, I don't have the capital that I need. Honestly, for a long time, I have always liked to do business. And so I would greatly appreciate your prayers pertaining to this matter too.
I went for an interview yesterday and the main interviewer voiced her concern about my tendency to job-hop. I must admit that I used to job-hop but I was actually forced to leave my last job and hence I was there for only a short period of time. I know this job-hop thing is a big minus point but since nothing's impossible with God, I am sure He can help me get the job for which I went for interview yesterday. I was told that I have to wait for 2 weeks for a reply and that I have to go for a 2nd interview if I have passed the 1st interview, which means that I might not be able to start work soon. I can't afford to start work only next year. In fact, if I don't start work by 1 Dec, I would have to borrow money again. I am already in debt and so I really do not want to incur further debts. So, I wonder if you could pray that I would get an offer within this month such that I could start work on 1 Dec?
