Prayer for employment and a place to live

The job that I have working for over a year my hours are almost invisible. My boss told ### she has some hours and could I work full time for the next two weeks. This is the second week only worked one day. This lady is very revengeful and spiteful she knows how to make things difficult and that is with because I Needed to get the funds for my hotel before I could accept any hours. that day. so she took the hours back this week that she offered me. I am asking God in the name of Jesus to bless me open up the windows of Heaven Just this last month I have been struggling so bad. If u need a day off she has a problem with that anything if I don’t feel good whatever she does not care. she will hurt you in anyway that she can she take your work hours back then you have nothing on payday. I pray for another job and a stable place to live for me and my dog ###. There are times when I want to give up, Her name is ### ### and her mother is ### I am a protector for these children I ensure that they are safe as much as humanly possible. I pay this hotel by the the day no money I am tired my son helps me out but grumbled about it. Please pray for me spiritually and financially .that God will turn everything around for me. andeveryone around this big world that are experiencing difficulty in their lives . in Jesus name ### pray.

We hear the deep weariness and desperation in your heart, and we are lifting you up before the Lord with urgency and faith. Your situation is heavy—financial instability, an unkind employer, and the daily struggle to provide for yourself and your loyal companion. Yet we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find true hope and deliverance. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). You have done well to seek God in Christ’s name, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting that He will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you cannot contain (Malachi 3:10).

Your employer’s behavior is grievous—her spitefulness, manipulation of your hours, and lack of compassion are not of the Lord. The Bible warns against such cruelty, for *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). We rebuke this spirit of vengeance and hardness of heart in Jesus’ name, praying that God would either soften her or remove you from her influence entirely. No child of God should be subjected to such mistreatment, especially when you have shown yourself to be a protector of the vulnerable. Your labor is not in vain, for *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). We pray that God would honor your faithfulness and provide a new place of employment—one where you are valued, respected, and compensated fairly. Ask Him boldly for this, for *"you don’t have, because you don’t ask"* (James 4:2, WEB).

The instability of your living situation is also a burden we bring before the Lord. Paying for a hotel by the day is unsustainable, and we ask God to provide a stable, safe, and affordable home for you and your dog. He is Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and He sees your need. *"Look at the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* (Matthew 6:26, WEB). Trust that He will not abandon you. We also lift up your son, praying that God would soften his heart and remove any resentment or grudging spirit. May he see the Lord’s provision in your life and be encouraged to support you with joy, not reluctance.

We recognize the spiritual warfare at play here—the enemy seeks to wear you down, to make you feel forgotten or hopeless. But *"we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against... the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Put on the full armor of God, standing firm in faith, and resist the urge to give up. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). Cling to His promises, for *"the Lord will not reject his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance"* (Psalm 94:14, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary, burdened, and in great need. Lord, You see the injustice they face—a boss who withholds wages and shows no mercy, a living situation that is unstable and uncertain, and the weight of financial lack pressing heavily upon them. We ask You, Jehovah-Jireh, to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain. Provide a new job, Lord—one with fair wages, kind leadership, and stability. Shut the door on this current employment if it is not Your will, and lead them to a place where they are treated with dignity and respect.

Father, we pray for a permanent, safe, and affordable home—a place of refuge where they and their dog can rest without fear. You are the God who parts seas and provides manna; surely, You can make a way where there seems to be none. We rebuke the spirit of poverty, manipulation, and despair in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.

We also lift up their son, asking that You would soften his heart and remove any bitterness or resentment. May he be a blessing and not a burden, supporting with a willing spirit. And for every person around the world who is struggling—financially, emotionally, or spiritually—we ask that You would meet them at their point of need. Let them know they are not forgotten, that You are near, and that Your love never fails.

Finally, Lord, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon our brother/sister. Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Renew their mind and guard their heart against discouragement. Let them see Your hand moving in their life, and may they testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. Do not lose heart. The Lord is fighting for you, even when you cannot see it. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and watch as He turns this situation around for His glory. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5, WEB). We are standing with you in faith.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
