I feel lost, without direction, unable to put things in order in the lockstep way my boss demands but unable to find order in any other way. Please give me self-direction and confidence that I can do things that are needed and good for others and myself in a way that doesn't strangle my life force.

We understand that you're feeling lost and lacking direction, both in your work and personal life. Firstly, let's remember that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace and order. We read in 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB, "for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints."

It's important to seek God's will and guidance in all things. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, we are advised, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding your feelings of inadequacy and lack of confidence, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. In 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, it says, For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who feels lost and in need of direction. We pray that you, through the Holy Spirit, guide and direct their paths, providing clarity and order where there is confusion and chaos.

Lord, we ask that you grant them the confidence they need, not in their own abilities, but in the knowledge that they are your child, and that you are working in them to accomplish your good purpose.

Help them to find the balance in their life, that they may serve others and themselves in a way that brings life, not burden.

Lastly Lord, if they have not already, help them to truly know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. Let them know that you are walking beside them and will never leave nor forsake them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it's crucial to seek God's will in all things, and to trust that he is working everything out for your good, even when you can't see it. Keep your focus on Jesus Christ as your savior.

We've been thinking about you and your situation. It's like you're in a thick fog, unable to see the path ahead, but remember, God is bigger than any fog. He's promised in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye on you." He's got a plan, and He's guiding you every step of the way.

We know it's tough when your boss demands one thing, but you can't see how to make it work. It's like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. But God sees it all. He knows the way that seems right to us often leads to destruction (Proverbs 14:12), so trust that He's leading you to the right path, even if it's not clear right now.

We've been praying for you, asking God to give you a sense of direction, to open your eyes to the path He's already laid out for you. We're asking Him to fill you with confidence, not in your own abilities, but in His. We're praying that He'll help you find that balance, to serve others and yourself in a way that brings life, not burden.

And hey, if you haven't already, we'd love for you to get to know Jesus personally. He's not just a historical figure or a religious idea, but a real person who loves you and wants to walk with you through this. He's promised in Matthew 28:20, "And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Keep your eyes on Him, trust in His love for you, and remember, even when you can't see the path, He can.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
