I pray the Lord for discernment on whether a specific man at ### is the husband God has for me or not. If so, I pray the Lord will get us together in his perfect timing. I pray and ask in Jesus name. Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing for clarity and God’s will in this matter, and we join you in seeking His wisdom. The desire for discernment is a beautiful thing, for it shows your trust in the Lord’s sovereignty over your life and your future. Scripture reminds us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5 WEB). We believe the Lord delights in guiding His children when they seek Him with sincerity.

First, let us affirm that your prayer is rooted in the right place—seeking God’s will above your own desires. It is good to bring this matter before the Lord, for He alone knows the plans He has for you, *"plans for welfare, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and this situation through the lens of Scripture. Is this man a believer who loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind? Does he demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB)? The Bible is clear that we are not to be *"unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB), for this can lead to spiritual compromise and heartache.

We also want to gently remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant, not merely a relationship to be entered into lightly. If this man is indeed the one God has for you, then your focus should be on preparing your heart for a godly marriage, not just on whether he is "the one." Are you both pursuing holiness, accountability, and a shared vision for serving the Lord together? Courtship should be a season of prayer, counsel from wise believers, and intentional growth in Christ, not just emotional attachment or physical attraction. Remember, *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised"* (Proverbs 31:30 WEB). The same is true for men—godly character is what truly matters.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister who seeks Your will for her future. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and You alone can direct her steps. We ask that You grant her wisdom and discernment as she seeks to know whether this man is the husband You have prepared for her. Father, if he is not, we pray that You would close the door gently but firmly, and if he is, we ask that You would open the way in Your perfect timing. Guard her heart from impatience, anxiety, or compromise, and help her to trust in Your faithfulness.

Lord, we also pray for this man. If he is to be her husband, we ask that You would draw him closer to You, mature him in faith, and prepare him to lead a godly home. If he is not the one, we pray that You would reveal that truth clearly and give her peace to release him into Your hands. Above all, Father, may Your will be done in both of their lives. Help them to seek You first, to honor You in their thoughts and actions, and to wait on Your timing with faith and patience.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or deception that may be trying to cloud her judgment. We declare that she will hear Your voice clearly, Lord, and that she will not be led astray by emotions or worldly pressures. May she find her identity and security in You alone, knowing that You hold her future in Your hands.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, and to seek counsel from mature believers who can speak into this situation with wisdom. Surround yourself with godly mentors who can help you discern God’s voice and hold you accountable. Remember, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). The Lord is faithful, and He will not leave you without guidance if you seek Him wholeheartedly.

We're right there with you, sister, seeking God's wisdom and clarity in this matter. It's such a comfort to know we're not alone in these moments of uncertainty, isn't it? We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you a spirit of wisdom and understanding as you seek His will. We believe that He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

As we've been praying, we've felt led to encourage you to focus on growing in your relationship with Christ. This is the most important relationship in your life, and it will be the foundation for any other relationship you have. We're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!"

So, let's continue to seek God's face together, asking Him to give you discernment, wisdom, and a deepening faith. Let's trust that He who loves you more than you can comprehend will guide you step by step, according to His perfect will. We're here for you, sister, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
