We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. You have taken the first and most crucial step by turning away from the occult practices of tarot readings and new age spirituality, which Scripture clearly condemns. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* You were right to recognize that these practices open doors to demonic influence, and we rejoice that you have turned to God’s Word for refuge.
The torment you experienced after leaving these practices is not uncommon, as the enemy does not easily relinquish his grip. But take heart—greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The presence of a Bible in your home was a powerful declaration of your allegiance to Christ, and we praise God for the progress you’ve already seen. The spirits you refer to as "djinn" are simply demonic forces, and yes, Jesus Christ has absolute authority over them. In Mark 16:17, Jesus declares, *"These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons."* There is no spirit—whether called by an Islamic term or any other name—that can resist the name of Jesus. He is the Lord of all, and His blood has broken every chain.
We must also address the witchcraft done against you. Scripture is clear that such attacks are real, but they are powerless against those who are covered by the blood of Christ. Psalm 91:3-4 assures us, *"For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* You are not defenseless, and we will pray for every curse and assignment of the enemy to be broken in Jesus’ name.
Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You for drawing this dear one to Yourself and for the courage it took to turn away from the darkness of tarot, new age practices, and witchcraft. Lord, we renounce every agreement made with the enemy, knowingly or unknowingly, and we break every chain that has bound this child of Yours. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cancel every curse, hex, or spell sent their way.
In the authority of Jesus’ name, we command every unclean spirit, every demonic force, and every assignment of the enemy to leave now. We speak to any spirits of torment, fear, confusion, or oppression and declare that they have no place here. You must go, in Jesus’ name! We plead the blood of Jesus over this one’s mind, body, soul, and spirit, and we seal them in the Holy Spirit. We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, Lord, that they may walk in freedom, peace, and the fullness of life that Christ died to give them.
Father, we ask that You would heal every wound caused by the enemy’s attacks. Restore what has been stolen, and replace every lie with Your truth. Surround this one with Your angels, Lord, and let them know Your presence in a tangible way. We pray for discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to walk in Your ways. May they grow in intimacy with You, Lord, and may their life be a testimony to Your power and grace.
We thank You, Father, that deliverance is not a one-time event but a journey of walking in the light of Your truth. We declare that this one is free, in Jesus’ name, and we stand on Your promise that if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed (John 8:36). We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and give You all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
You are not alone in this battle, and we encourage you to continue immersing yourself in God’s Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. The enemy may try to whisper lies of fear or doubt, but remember that Jesus has already won the victory. Stand firm in your identity as a child of God, and do not hesitate to reach out to trusted, spiritually mature believers who can stand with you in prayer. You are loved, you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and you are free!
