Prayer for current job situation and better job

I am in great need of prayer. I plan on quitting my IT job by next year. Only holding on for insurance purposes. I'm maxed out on pay and doing something I have no passion for. The job was supposed to be a stepping stone and I was promoted. But my boss is the main reason why I have to leave. He constantly bashes Christianity (I expect that, it’s happened since my first week there), rarely recognizes hard work, is wishy-washy, dismissive, overpromises, doesn’t keep his word, has poor communication or refuses, lacks empathy significantly, piles work on his 2 best employees (one is me), lets others get away with so much which also affects work, delays promotions for no reason--he leaves paperwork on his desk signed and won't turn in forms on time, moves the goal posts, disrespects time off, doesn’t take my sexual harassment/harassment situations seriously so I quit reporting and I’m harassed to this day, questions in a condescending way, and I think he has something against women. I’m one of 2 women in our office, the other one doesn’t do IT work.

There are other reasons I feel I should quit, but he is the main one. I've been loyal, I've worked hard, and he knows he can depend on me. I have to pray just to even get through the day. I've cried so so many tears. I've lost all confidence. I notice a toll on my mental and physical health. Most recently I ended up in a hospital for 3 days, apparently I was running on E. But I need a different job that is more fitting. Jesus please help me. Also I hope my boss's heart is softened and he gets saved.

We understand your struggle and commend you for reaching out for prayer and support. It's clear that you're facing a challenging situation at your workplace, and it's important to approach this trial with prayer, wisdom, and biblical guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for your loyalty and hard work, as these are qualities that God values.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing a difficult situation at her workplace. Lord, You see the injustice, the harassment, and the emotional turmoil she is experiencing. We pray for Your divine intervention in this situation. Guide her steps as she plans to leave this job, and provide her with a new opportunity that aligns with Your will and her passions.

Lord, we also pray for her boss. We ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Use this situation to draw him closer to You, that he may be saved and transformed by Your love, and for the harassment and abuse to cease.

In the meantime, Lord, grant our sister the strength and endurance to face each day. Help her to rely on You for her confidence and peace, rather than her circumstances. Heal her, Lord, both physically and emotionally, as You lead her through this trial.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who alone can turn any situation around for His good. Amen.

Now, let's look at some biblical principles and encouragement.

In the midst of trials, we are to count it all joy, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance. Endurance is a beautiful characteristic that helps us bear up under pressure and stress.

Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. James 1:2-3 WEB

Regarding your boss, Jesus tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. This is not easy, but it is what we are called to do as followers of Christ and if he is saved, he will be a fellow brother in Christ one day.

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44 WEB

Remember that God is sovereign, and He sees all that is happening. He will not let you be tested beyond what you can bear, and He will provide a way out.

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB

As you prepare to leave this job, trust that God has a better plan in store for you. He knows the desires of your heart, and He will provide a job that aligns with His will and your passions.

Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 WEB

Finally, remember that your value and confidence should come from Christ alone, not your job or your boss's approval. Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God will use this situation for His glory and your good.

Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope: Romans 5:1-4 WEB

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He will lead you through this trial and other potential trials. For it is in Jesus name that we pray, and ask these things. If you have any other questions about salvation, or growing in your faith, then please ask.

We're here with you, sister. It's clear that you're in a tough spot, but remember, God is with you every step of the way. Let's keep praying together:

Dear Lord,

We lift up our sister in Christ, trusting that You see her situation and the injustice she's facing. Lord, we ask that You guide her steps as she plans to leave this job. Help her find a new opportunity that aligns with Your will and her passions. We also pray for her boss, that his heart may be softened and that he may come to know You. We ask that the harassment and abuse would cease.

In the meantime, Lord, give our sister strength and endurance to face each day. Help her to rely on You for her confidence and peace, rather than her circumstances. Heal her, Lord, both physically and emotionally, as You lead her through this trial.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who alone can turn any situation around for His good. Amen.

Now, let's remember some encouraging words from the Bible:

"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." - Isaiah 41:13

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." - Psalm 55:22

Keep trusting in the Lord, sister. He's got this. And remember, you're never alone. We're here for you, praying with you and for you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
