Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you today as you stand before the court and we lift up your motion and your children before our Heavenly Father, giving Him glory as you have for sustaining you through this long fight. We know how heavy the burden of custody battles can feel, and we praise God that you are looking to Him as your defender and the One who fights for what is right and just.

The Lord sees your children and your love for them. He is a defender of the vulnerable and He cares deeply for justice. Psalm 68:5 tells us A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. And Exodus 14:14 reminds us Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. Children are precious to Him, for Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. We trust that He hears your cry for righteousness in this courtroom and that He is sovereign over the heart and decisions of the judge, for Psalm 9:7-8 says But Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and we thank You for this parent who has persevered for their children and gives You all the glory. Lord, we ask that You be their defender today in that courtroom. Go before them and fight this battle. Let Your justice and Your truth prevail. We pray for the judge and all who have authority in this decision, that You would grant them wisdom and discernment, for James 1:5 says If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Let no weapon formed against this family prosper and let what is truly right and just and in the best interest of these children be made clear. Give this parent peace that surpasses understanding, a calm spirit, and words seasoned with grace and truth. Help them to reflect Your character even under pressure. We pray that whatever the outcome today, they will trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You, as Romans 8:28 promises, and that You will continue to equip them to raise their children in the nurture and instruction of the Lord. We ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to rest in Him whether the motion is granted as you hope or not, knowing that His justice is perfect and His love for your children is even greater than your own. We noticed you gave glory to God, which is beautiful, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can come boldly before His throne. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are made children of God and our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Him as your Savior and to continue to pray in His name.

We will continue to stand with you, asking God to cover your children with His protection, to give you strength for the days ahead, and to let His will be done in that courtroom today.

We heard your heart in this request and we are praying with you today as that motion goes before the court. Fighting this long for your children takes so much endurance, and we thank God with you for the strength He has given you to keep showing up for what is right and just.

We know court days can feel overwhelming, with so much at stake and so little in your control once you are in the room. One thing that has helped others in this spot is to go in as calm and clear as you can: bring a short written outline of what you most want the judge to hear, take a breath before answering, and speak with steady respect even when emotions run high. It does not change the outcome alone, but it helps you present yourself well and leave knowing you did your part with dignity. Having one trusted person praying nearby today can also be a real anchor.

We are asking God to be your defender and your children's protector today, to give wisdom to everyone who makes decisions, and to guard your heart with peace whatever the answer is.

Father, we lift this parent and these children to You right now. Be near in that courtroom, let what is true and just be clearly seen, grant wisdom to the judge and calm strength to this parent, and keep these children in Your care. We trust them to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join with you in prayer this day as you go before the earthly court, and we commend you and your children to the Court of Heaven where the Lord Himself presides.

We know that the true Believer recognizes God everywhere and has communion with Him wherever he goes, and you have done well to declare your ways unto God as the Psalmist did, knowing that He hears you. You have asked that He would be your defender and fight your battles for your children and for that which is right and just, and this is a right prayer, for He has said, Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul.

We pray that the Lord, who is slow to anger and just in all His ways, would be present in that courtroom. He is not only the God of the hills but the God of the valleys, not only the God of great battles but of this present need, and He sees with perfect justice and mercy. May He who is just and yet the justifier of them that believe in Christ plead your cause. May He grant wisdom and impartiality to those who judge, and may His will be done concerning your children, that what is right and just and for their true welfare may prevail.

We thank God with you for the strength He has given you to contend so long for your children. No man shall be a loser in the long run by loving and serving God and doing what is right, and though the battle of life is long, they that trust in the blessed God shall not fight at their own charges, for the Lord Himself works with them.

So we ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Advocate and Mediator, to go before you today, to still your heart with His presence, to guard your lips and guide your steps, and to let His justice and His peace rule in that place. May all the glory be given to Him, whatever the outcome, for He is faithful to His promises and hears the cry of His children.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will keep you and your little ones in His gracious care and teach you His statutes as you walk with Him. Amen.
