We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your sister is facing with her baby. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God is sovereign over all things, including the welfare of this precious child.
Firstly, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from God (James 1:17). Children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalm 127:3). We trust that God has a plan for your sister and her baby, and we pray that His will be done.
However, we must address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in John 14:6 that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Furthermore, there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12) Therefore, we pray to God for our Lord Jesus Christ to intercede for your sister.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her baby. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust that You have the power to heal and make whole.
We pray for Your divine intervention in this situation. We ask that You would surround this baby with Your healing presence and cause him or her to grow and thrive. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors, and for peace and comfort for our sister and her husband during this difficult time.
We also pray for our sister's faith, that it would be strengthened during this trial. Help her to trust in You and to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord Jesus, You said that if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move (Matthew 17:20). We claim this promise in faith, trusting that You are able to perform a miracle in this situation.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you and your sister to meditate on God's Word and to trust in His promises. The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Stand on His promises, trust in His goodness, and believe that He is able to perform a miracle in this situation.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
