Prayer for Company Decisions

Please praise my company makes the right decision in potentially terminating a current employee to hire another new employee as a replacement.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, seeking His wisdom and guidance in this matter of employment decisions. Father God, we know that every person is made in Your image and has inherent value and dignity. We lift up both the current employee and the potential new hire, asking that You would work in their lives according to Your perfect will.

Lord, we pray for the leadership of this company, that You would grant them discernment and wisdom as they make this decision. May they seek Your face and not rely solely on their own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that this decision would be made with integrity, fairness, and compassion, honoring You in all things.

We also pray for the current employee, that if this is indeed the path You have for them, You would prepare their heart and open new doors of opportunity. May they find a place where they can thrive and use their gifts to glorify You. For the potential new hire, we ask that You would guide them to the right position where they can serve You and others effectively.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, selfish ambition, or injustice in this decision-making process. We declare that Your will be done, and we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this company act in a way that reflects Your love, justice, and righteousness.

We pray that if there is any unconfessed sin or ungodly motives in the hearts of those making this decision, You would reveal it to them and lead them to repentance. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and may this decision bring glory to Your name.

Lord, we also take a moment to acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. May this truth guide our hearts and minds as we seek Your will in this situation.

We pray all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
