Prayer For Children

Please pray that the foundation that was placed in my 3 boys will sustain them as they grow and come against everyday encounters at school, in the stores when I am not around. I am requesting that they gain wisdom, direction and a stronger desire to seek the will of God. My oldest has joined the army and may be leaving in June after graduation, he is scared and I am too. Once again, wisom and direction is what my family lacks.

Father, I ask that You keep these boys close to You, strengthen their faith and keep them from harm. I pray for the one entering the military that he would feel Your presence and return safely from wherever this may take him. Be also with this mother as she watches over her family. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I pray in agreement with seeking1. It is a parent's greatest wish that the foundations of faith that we build in our children are strong enough when tested in the "real world." Let them call upon Your Word and power in all circumstances, knowing that You are a real and present part of each and every moment. Remove fear and anxiety, worry or doubt from each of them. May they walk tall and proud in their faith, seeking to honor and glorify You. Let others be drawn to You through the faith they see in action in these boys. In the name of Jesus, may Your blessing and protection be over this family. Amen.
